We’ve just finished the last of the Grow Your Platform workshop, taught via Zoom.  My intention is to teach the participants how to build the foundation of a great author platform, and then to use it to become attractive to publishers and readers.

Publishers are sticklers about this, even more these days. They insist that the author show up with not just a good book idea, but also the ability to make people buy copies. A small platform is better than no platform, because the fact alone of publishing a book can grow it exponentially.

The best part is when people start to realize how all the pieces fit together, and that the advice they’ve gotten on all the things they are “supposed” to be doing are mostly wrong. Do one thing with excellence, grow it, and watch your platform increase – almost like magic!

I’ll do another session in January, if you’d like to join us.
