About Us

Founder of Keller Media

Wendy Keller is a respected literary agent, speakers bureau owner, award-winning journalist, author, and speaker. Her career began as a paid newspaper reporter at the age of 16. Since then,  Wendy has amassed extensive experience across various media and literary platforms.

Unparalleled Experience and Success

Wendy’s journalism experience includes roles at PR Newswire Los Angeles, the Knight-Ridder newspaper chain, as managing editor of Dateline magazine, and associate publisher of Los Angeles’ La Gaceta. In 1989, she founded Keller Media Inc., originally known as “ForthWrite Literary Agency”, to sell screenplays. After three years of surprising success in Hollywood, she chose publishing over the film industry, because publishers made decisions faster and had better accounting practices.

To date, Wendy has successfully negotiated approximately 1,800 rights deals globally, including 19 New York Times bestsellers and 11 international bestsellers. This impressive track record underscores her talent for transforming people and their messages into sellable entities, including published books and paid speaking engagements.

An Author and Advocate

Wendy’s first book was published when she was just 26.  Now she has a total of 31 traditionally published books under nine pseudonyms, and11 self-published books. Her books and publishing industry expertise have made her a sought-after guest on 53 national television programs, including Dr. Phil, Dateline NBC, and CBS The Early Show, and over 500 radio shows and podcasts. Wendy has been interviewed by numerous prestigious publications, including The Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Dallas Morning News, The Scotsman, London Times, and The Miami Herald.

A Unique Perspective

Wendy’s early media career provides her with a unique perspective on publishing, setting her apart from other agents. She is a passionate advocate for authors and speakers, takes an active role in helping them to promote themselves, and ensuring that Keller Media’s talented clients achieve maximum impact and profit from their work.

Beyond the Professional Realm

In her leisure time, Wendy enjoys kayaking, hiking, Pilates, international travel, studying archaeology, and of course, reading voraciously. She speaks and reads decent Italian, passable French, some German and Spanish, and a handful of tourist words in Dutch, Norwegian, and Turkish.  She has been working on her first novel…since 2013.
